About

I’ve been part of the Chatham-Kent community for many years.  Experiencing both farm and small-town life offered me a lot of freedom, life lessons, and a sense of wonder growing up.  Living close to provincial parks, lakes, bays, and endless fields has made for some good memories.

After graduating high school I completed an undergraduate degree and worked contentedly for many years in the business field.  A few years ago, I went through some of my own difficulties which taught me depths of sorrow, and, eventually, a new appreciation for life.  Working my way through these challenges has created a desire to support and encourage others going through suffering.  Ultimately this led me to the field of psychology and a reconciling of my faith with my own life experiences.

I began counselling a couple years ago after completing a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University.  Based on my own experience, I believe counselling can play a significant role in shaping an individual’s future for the better.  I have met some amazing people in the clients who I’ve had the privilege of walking with thus far, and I’m looking forward to working together with those I’ve yet to meet!
